Different as night and day

Photo of a mural of a flamenco dancer next to a portrait of Bruce Lee and his master

Yesterday I joked about it, but it really is quite something when two headstrong types start a business. One makes decisions real fast, the other researches like there’s no tomorrow. One’s messy, the other has an Excel fetish. One’s intuitive, the other thoughtful (meaning slow). We’re not throwing pitchforks at each other, but it’s a close call. Tired? Yes. But also never a dull moment. So if you come and stay with us after the renovation and think ‘that’s an odd choice’, you’ve stumbled upon one of our compromises. One of many. That’s why in our house there’s a photo of a wall painting of a flamenco dancer next to an iconic pic of Bruce Lee and his master. Our collaboration is like us: different as night and day but turns out these two go quite well together.

A party under the oak tree

Yes, we’re married but we never threw a fuck-off party. Maybe now is the time to start with ours. Preferably under the 300-year-old oak tree.
