“We’re not buying an olive grove, you know. Far too much work.” I can still hear us saying it when we started looking for a place to live.
Until we viewed Casa Tre Pettirossi and fell head over heels for the houses, the hills and the thousand and one olive trees.
We could already picture ourselves walking around with our daughters. We saw long tables full of food and guests, people gathered around big open fires, natural beauty to cherish and lose ourselves in. Living self-sufficiently, away from the madness and the programming. Far enough from the cheerful bustle, close enough to be in the thick of it in no time. Stumbling upon this place feels like a gift we’d love to share.
In April 2027 we officially open our doors, and you’ll be able to stay in one of our eight apartments or organise a retreat or wedding. Until then we’re busy renovating and making olive oil. You can follow our renovation here .

Towards a self-sufficient estate together
Step by step, we are working towards a self-sufficient estate that provides its own water, energy and food. There’s a lot to do, and a lot to learn.
Outside the high season, we love to welcome people who want to come and help and learn. For example about:
- Watercollecting it, storing it and using it sparingly
- Energygenerating it ourselves and using it wisely
- Vegetable gardensowing, tending and harvesting
- Forestrymaintaining the woods and processing timber
- Renovationhelping with the renovation of the buildings
- And much morejust ask us what’s going on
In high season, too, guests are very welcome to help out and learn about self-sufficient living. A morning in the vegetable garden or an afternoon in the woods: you join in as much as you like.
