Description
Our olives grow in the Umbrian hills between Perugia and Lake Trasimeno, on trees between 40 and 200 years old. We pick them by hand early in the season, after which they are given their first cold pressing.
The result is a fresh green extra virgin olive oil with a fruity aroma, a slightly bitter note and a peppery finish. Delicious over bread, salads, soup, fish and grilled vegetables, or simply a spoonful at breakfast, the way Italians do.
The black tin keeps out light and air, so the oil stays fresh for longer. Once opened, store the tin in a cool, dark place.
